How do I create a presentation request using Digio dashboard?

Under the presentation section on Digio dashboard, create a new presentation. Below form will open-



In the text box on the top labelled: ‘Enter UMRN’, Enter the UMRN number of the mandate you would like to present a debit for and the relevant fields below will auto populate.Below is what the form looks like after entering a valid UMRN number and clicking ‘Search and Pre-fill details’ 








Explanation of above fields -

Corporate Account Number

Corporate A/C where the debited amount will be credited.

Customer Name:

Name of the customer as per the registered Mandate.

Destination Account Type

Type of the Customer’s account (Savings/Current)

Destination IFSC/MICR

Customer Bank A/C IFSC or MICR

Create recurring Payment:

This is ‘Yes’ for a presentation to be made more than once and ‘No’ for a one-time presentation.

Amount in Rupees

The amount to be debited from the customer’s account for the presentation. This must be less than or equal to the maximum amount of the mandate.

Frequency

This is used only for Mandates with a frequency not equal to ‘As and When Presented’ or ADHOC. 


This option is used for recurring payments and can be any Frequency less than or equal to the Mandate’s defined frequency. E.g. a mandate with weekly Frequency can be presented with monthly frequency but not vice versa. The frequency defined in the mandate registration is the minimum time between two consecutive presentations.

Payment count

The number of debits to be made for a recurring payment. Once this number is reached, the presentation expires.

Settlement Date

The date on which the presentation file is prepared and shared with the Sponsor Bank - same day debit happens on customer account. In case of recurring payments the file is shared with a gap defined by the frequency. E.g. after 7 days in case of weekly frequency and on the same settlement date every month in the case of monthly frequency.  Note: In case the settlement date falls on an NPCI holiday, the system automatically shifts it to the next working day.

Customer Reference Number

The ref. No. of the Customer as per the corporate’s records. This can be used to search for presentations at a later stage. the ref. No. of the Customer as per the corporate’s records. This can be used to search for presentations at a later stage.

Narration

The narration of the transaction as conveyed to the Customer’s Bank.


Once a debit request is created, details can be seen on Digio dashboard presentation section -
